LGBT Families

Recognition and support is needed for these families on the front lines of a new wave of progress.

I found your blog through a google alert, and am very excited to read more! I am a grad student who is interested in lgbt/queer families and parenting, and I think you are right that “LGBT families” needs to include those with LGBT children, especially young children. I am currently interviewing lesbian and gay parents in my local area, as well as parents with gender non-conforming kids, and of course sometimes these two categories overlap! I am excited to see more and more parents who are openly supporting their kids. Thanks for being out there! I look forward to reading more about your family and your awesome daughter.
